Value Tree Talks I – Vision and leadership with Ramón Larramendi, polar explorer

In February 2025, we held the first edition of Value Tree Talks, a series of events designed to bring together exceptional individuals and offer our clients a broader perspective on effort, decision-making, and leadership in complex environments.

On this occasion, we were joined by Ramón Larramendi, considered the most important Spanish polar explorer in history and one of the leading international figures in Arctic exploration. His career is a testament to resilience, innovation, and endurance in some of the most extreme environments on Earth.

A pioneer in the exploration of Greenland and the Arctic, Larramendi has led historic expeditions that have redefined the boundaries of polar mobility, including the development of his own wind-powered over-ice vehicle — a unique contribution internationally recognised. His life exemplifies how vision, preparation, and determination can turn the impossible into reality.

During the event, he shared real-life leadership experiences in extreme conditions, where every decision matters and adaptability is essential to survive and progress. His story goes beyond exploration, connecting directly with universal values such as discipline, risk management, patience, and long-term vision.

The event took place in an intimate and exclusive setting, encouraging direct dialogue between the speaker and attendees, and creating a rare space for reflection in which lived experience becomes strategic learning.

With this first edition of Value Tree Talks, we launch an initiative aimed at bringing together exceptional figures capable of inspiring new ways of thinking, acting, and making decisions. A meeting point between human excellence and decision-making in high-pressure environments.
